“ From the first impression my husband chosed this place because it is on the square, looks clean and comfortable, and we decided to stay. if I have to be honest when a saw the bad rating I didn’t want to stay. But I was really pleasent surprised! The manager was very polite and charming lady. Our waiter Martina was extremely kind, professional, helpful and with very good English. The food was good - salad was fresh, the fish and capacio was well flavored and also fresh. Nothing special but above the expectation for such a touristic location. ”
“ Great location and lots of outdoor sitting. Finally a restaurant that offers pizze for lunch! We had one to share as a starter: it was excellent! And the rest of the food we had was very well presented and original, like the crispy octopus. All very tasty! Sadly, even though the waitresses were very friendly, it was rather slow. And 3 euros for "coperto", that was a definite "never seen" before. Nice touch to give homemade cantuccini with coffee. Overall a very good choice for a great lunch in Pietrasanta. ”

“ This is a lovely little bistro in the middle of the main Piazza in Pietrasanta. Now usually I don’t go to a place with less than 4 starts in google but this time 4 of my friends had a steak here and they said it was amazing and I was so happy I did. Sometimes you have to lean into your discomfort. I ordered only the steak with a side of spinach, a glass of their homemade house red and finished off a basket of bread socked with olive oil. Also the oil is homemade and if I could I would bathe in it.. I loved it!! And I only eat steak once or twice a year, so I’m so happy that I tried it here. I wish I could comment on the rest of the menu but I went there expressly to taste what my friends were all raving about. One of my friends went there 3 days in a row and ate the steak. Once was enough for me because I don’t have the digestive power I used to have. ”

I know the service gets a bad rap, but we’ve always been treated well by the managers and staff (the last time by Martina, who was awesome). It’s a very busy place and you go knowing that a little patience at the beginning will be needed because they’re trying to do right by people who ate earlier. We always find the food interesting and cooked well and the wine right on point. ”
